Lansing Symphony Orchestra

Formed in 1929, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is widely recognized as one of Michigan’s cultural gems and continues to strive to reach audiences on a personal level, letting the power of live music do the talking. The LSO fulfills its mission of “enriching, educating, entertaining and inspiring the people of our region through exceptional live musical experiences” by presenting numerous public performances, including MasterWorks, Pops, Musician, Family, and Neighborhood concert series. Besides presenting the finest in orchestral performances, the LSO is committed to taking an active role in the development of music education programming for our community, and our nationally recognized education programs reach preschoolers to adults.
